All profusely illustrated with fascinating photographic illustrations of early climbs and climbers, as well as folding maps. All three issues bound in with original front and back covers. The June 1925 issue has articles on Katahdin, Tahiti mountains, the Columbia Icefield in Alberta, Volcano Poas, Colorado and an "in memoriam" for the intrepid woman climber Fanny Bullock Workman. The February 1926 issue has articles on Mt Logan, the Canadian Alps and early Appalachian Club climbers, Tetons, Canadian Rockies, Newfoundland, the White Mountains, and the Appalachian Mountain Club Trail System. The December 1926 issue has articles on Mt. Fryatt, Mt. Fairweather, winter climbs in the Alps, Mt. Everest, the Fairweather Range, an early winter trip to Katahdin, the first ascent of Throne Mountain and the Dolomites. Most of the articles are on actual climbs and/or explorations. Thick softcover, 6x9x2 inches thick. Paper covers show wear, but in good condition, still firmly bound. A pencil notation on the front of the three covers, just indicating the name of one of the articles - these could be erased. The volume contains a ton of interesting reading and fascinating vintage photographs.
